World Cup Qualifying goes global on Wednesday

Let the games begin, again.

World Cup qualifying is set to kick off tonight when Paraguay plays host to Venezuela (and Vanuatu faces Fiji), but tomorrow is when most of the world will have its attention turned to a loaded qualifying schedule and all the teams trying to make it to the 2010 World Cup.

Global weekend: Sept. 5-7

We're bad. We're worldwide.

We have 50 World Cup qualifiers Saturday, plus a handful Friday and Sunday, as we welcome Europe to the mix and start the last group stage in Asia. We even have a crucial qualifier in Oceania as New Zealand visits New Caledonia. First challenge is figuring out where New Caledonia is.

Matchday one is now gone and we look forward to another weekend of action from the Barclays Premier League. As I mentioned last week, I'm going to be tracking my performance in the same manner IKTS does.

Even I will admit I was pretty bad by predictions standards last week. Only six out of ten correct, none on the nose.

FoxSoccer loves Liverpool

Well, at least so far they do. FSC has released it's November Premiership schedule and it looks as if our boys will be on live the first two weekends (making it three in a row, I might add).
