What to expect: Liverpool vs PSV Eindhoven

0

Wednesday's Matchday 2 for Liverpool will be against Dutch side, PSV Eindhoven, currently 2nd in the Dutch Eredivisie. This will be held at our fortress, so I supposed it is easy to conclude that we will win comfortably. My prediction: 3-1. It will be a Gernando show : ))

In fact I will not be surprised if PSV were to score first, just like Marseille did in Matchday 1.

My vacation is ending. I'm not laughing

Maybe these will help.

This one is weird, - but true.

The main character of the Get Fuzzy comic strip is a rugby fan - it shows.

And the following were e-mailed to me a couple of months back and I've been looking for an excuse to blog them ever since:

After a visit to the doctor, the local team's striker dropped in to his local pub for a quick one.

Ajax never considered an offer for Klaus Jan Huntelaar

4
Why? Its a simple question and you can read the article on ESPN's website. What exactly are Ajax trying to accomplish? Are they going to build a team around Huntelaar so now all of a sudden they are refusing to sell their top players? What is the plan Marco Van Basten? Huntelaar is a great talent, but 40 million Euros buys a lot of young talent to build a squad around, which seems to be the direction that they are going after watching their moves on the transfer market. Obscure South American of the Week Quinze

0

Name – Salvador Cabanas Ortega

Affiliation – Club America

Reason for Coolness – He's bigger than most hatchbacks and looks impressively like a murderous film villain who could kill you with one hand. Not that we think all Hispanic chaps are scary criminals.

Reason for Obscurity – Well he's Paraguayan and plays in the Mexican top flight, so he's stayed under the radar quite easily.
