A thought on Tony Adams

1
As I was watching Portsmouth easing past A.C. Milan in a match in which they played some very, very nice football, I just couldn't help thinking about something: there is only one man who would see Arsenal supporters keeping their cool if he replaces Arsene Wenger and that's Tony Adams. Having played more than 650 [. Click to continue reading...

So the dust has finally settled on William Gallas' ill judged outburst with Arsene Wengers decision to strip him of the captaincy and replace him with Cesc Fabregas immediately. Tony Adams Will Learn to Regret His Defoe Quit Threat

0
New Portsmouth manager Tony Adams said late last week that he would quit if Portsmouth sold Jermain Defoe. While I'm sure that most Pompey fans would agree that Defoe needs to stay, Adams's comment shows his immaturity as a manager. Threatening your new owners after recently getting the job is no way to impress the owners, [. Click to continue reading...

Congratulations, you've just appointed a nutter New Portsmouth manager Tony Adams has given a peculiar interview to the Daily Mail in which he describes himself as a loner and seems quite pleased to be called eccentric.   When Harry Redknapp walked out on Portsmouth for the second time at the end of October, the general consensus was that the immediate future looked bleak at Fratton Park. Redknapp, with the help of Milan Mandaric and whichever Gaydamak is actually pulling the strings, dragged Portsmouth kicking and screaming into Premier League regular status. The departure of Phillipe Senderos will be announced today,a much maligned player who never really reached his full potential leaves Arsenal. Cesc Makes Me Forget About Fulham...Well, Almost

0
Morning all, or afternoon or whatever it is where you are. Yesterday was a miserable day for us. I'm sure you read my rant about Captain Gallas, and that about summed up my feelings for the day. Gallas shouldn't be playing at all and Eboue shouldn't have to play central midfield. Robin van Persie seems to have forgotten how to score and overall the whole thing was bloody awful.
