End of the Season Interviews

Thad over at The Back Post attended the end of the season press day at the Wizards training complex. Thad was able to get multiple interviews with different players that are posted up on his blog.

He first got an interview with first year professional Chance Myers.

Player Interviews from the Past Two Weeks

Onalfo Interview

Thad from The Back Post has put up an interview that he got yesterday with Wizards head coach, Curt Onalfo. Overall, it's a good interview, with some insight into the team for this weekend's game, along with an update on the situation with Carlos Marinelli. With regards to the lineup, Onalfo says that he's going to go with something very similar to the lineup the team put out last week against Chicago, and similar to the last 4 games. New Beat Writer

Thad over at The Back Post is reporting that the Wizards have a new beat writer to replace Bob Luder whose name has come up in the Star's recent layoffs. According to Thad, the new writer is Randy Covitz, who is currently with the Star. How about U.S. Soccer in the last two days? It wasn't pretty, but our boys earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Guatemala on the road, the first win there since 1988 and the first-ever win in Guatemala during World Cup Qualifying.
