Adebayor, Have You Forgotten About Silvestre?

0
Arsenal striker Adebayor has come out and said that he wouldn't swap any of his Arsenal team-mates for anyonen in the United team, except that isn't quite true is it? One of his team-mates was... Raining Drama In North London

4
So I switched to the North London derby just in time to see David Bentley score a "fuck you" lob goal from about 35 yards out (above) to shockingly open up the scoring against his old pals. From there it was all Arsenal, at least up until the the 89th when it was 4-2. Final [...] Click to continue reading...

Gallas joins injury list and the pain of the former Gunners: Flamini and Henry

2
I did promise you to keep you updated on Flamini's progress, in a friendly way of course as there are no hard feelings with the Frenchman. Well again, he was left on the bench for last Sunday's match away at Cagliari and came on in the later stages of the match. Unfortunately, he looked sluggish [... Click to continue reading...

Bischoff and Silvestre’s first outing and Rosicky to miss season?

2
Arsenal new boys Mikael Silvestre and Amuary Bischoff both made their first appeareance for the club in a 3-2 reserves match win over Stoke. Although it was not an official debut it was nice to finally see these two in an Arsenal shirt and they did impress from what I've ready. This is certainly great news [. Click to continue reading...

My Alarming Realisation…I Don’t Like Ronaldo

3
Whilst not ranting and raving with my disgust in certain players when we're not doing well, I will have a shout if one of our lads is repeatedly screwing up. The likes of Mikael Silvestre, Darren Fletcher, Kieran Richardson and John O'Shea have probably had me grumbling more than anyone else over the past 10 years [. Click to continue reading...

Injury News: Arsenal vs. Hull City

3
This weekend could see the debut of Mikael Silvestre who has finally overcome a muscle injury. The former Manchester United defender is likely to be benched for the clash against newly-promoted Hull, although he may start ahead of either Kolo Toure or William Gallas if Arsene chooses to rest one of his first-choice defensive pairing. Match Preview: Arsenal v Hull City (Premier League)

Premier League leaders Arsenal take on surprise package Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The Gunners are flying high at the top of the Premiership and take on top-flight debutantes Hull on the back of a 6-0 destruction of Championship side Sheffield United by their youngsters in the Carling Cup, but expect manager Arsene [. Top of the League, the Foul On Clichy, and Sheffield United

1
Well another win up the shanties of Bolton. I will have to mention that I did predict the score at 3-1 as well. So that win, combined with the rest of the results from Saturday and Sunday, put us top of the league. Liverpool found a way to draw with Stoke, and ManUre and Chelski played out a 1-1 draw, so it was great for us to get all 3 points away from home. Click to continue reading...

Bendtner And Vela Expected To Continue Strike Partnership

3
Arsene Wenger's Young guns face Sheffield United in the Carling Cup this Tuesday, with the youngsters and squad players expected to get a full 90 minutes. That means Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela will most likely partner each other on the night. We saw their frightening partnership in pre-season against Burgenland, Stuttgart and Ajax and [. Match Preview: Bolton v Arsenal (Premier League)

1
Arsenal will be looking to shoot down the white's in a tough looking clash at the Reebok tomorrow afternoon. Gary Megson's side don't have a very good record against Arsene Wenger's boys, and pundits are already writing them off despite Arsenal's draw against Kiev in midweek. Games between the two sides usually create plenty of goals, and [. Click to continue reading...

Dynamo Kiev Preview

1
Morning all. It's a fine day for football. My Under 8's are 2-0 to start the season with a +14 goal difference so far, so that's going well. And on top of that, since the disaster at Fulham, Arsenal have looked good too. We need that to continue tonight in Ukraine against Dynamo Kiev.

Injury news for Arsenal is as follows: Mikael Silvestre is out, along with Samir Nasri. Click to continue reading...

Pre-Pre Kiev news, Mineiro no go + Celtic Chief Exec linked

1

Arsenal depart for Kiev today and we're still somewhat in the dark regarding injuries. Some reports say Nasri will be fit, others say he won't.

There's no news about Eboue but it's believed Gael Clichy has declared himself 'A-OK, Hunky Dory' and 'Right as rain' for tomorrow's match. Which is good news but I suppose we have to wait until a bit later until the squad is announced before we get too overjoyed.

Mikael Silvestre enticed to Arsenal from Manchester United by William Gallas link

Defender reveals why he QUIT United for Arsenal

Mikael Silvestre has revealed the chance to play first-team football was the main driving force behind him trading Old Trafford for the Emirates. Blackburn Review and Walcott's Brilliance

Morning all, I'm finally back. I'd like to say I have a great excuse for not writing for almost a week, but my excuses aren't that good. Friday I just didn't get a chance to do my match preview, Saturday I woke up to watch the match and then coach my Under 8's to an 11-2 win, and yesterday I went to the Jaguar game. Wenger's talking again - Mineiro linked + Arsecast 91

Morning all, just one day until we get a real game of football again. How splendid.

There's vague team news ahead of the Blackburn game at this stage. Carlos Vela will miss out because of his lengthy travels while there are doubts over Samir Nasri who has some kind of knee problem. Mikael Silvestre's eagerly awaited debut will have to wait as well.

FC Twente - Second Leg plus other ramblings

As many of you know, today features the second leg of Champions League qualifying against those pesky Dutch, FC Twente. Led by Steve McLaren, the legendary English coach, this should not be a big deal, what with a 2-0 lead on aggregate from the first leg. Arsene Wenger Has F***ing Lost It

Ok that is just about enough Arsene. I just cant get my head around it!..............

I just cant understand the logic of sending out Johan Djourou on loan. The player has a very bright future and I want it to be in an Arsenal shirt.

He must feel disillusioned enough as it is. In the games previous to yesterday he was one of better players for Arsenal. It must be hard for him to do well and then be instantly replaced as soon as Toure or Gallas is fit. Click to continue reading...
