AC have admitted their interest in the player despite the fact that Ade has made two statements so far this close season saying he's going to stay at Arsenal.

Breaking News: Martin Jol Resigns from Spurs

Martin Jol's career as manager of Tottenham Hotspur has come to an end.

The Dutchman tendered his resignation shortly before the UEFA Cup match against Getafe, a game that was so typical of a Spurs match under Jol. The North London side went one-nil up before losing the match 2-1.

Jol had been in charge at Spurs for almost three years, but his departure comes as no surprise as the club is battling in the relegation zone with just one league win all season, against Derby, and four draws and five defeats. Click to continue reading...

The Guardian Guilty of Sloppy Journalism Again

Martin Jol has accused English football reports of a conspiracy. Quoted in The Guardian newspaper, Jol stated that "I feel there are two worlds here in London. There is you guys and then there are the supporters who read your papers. Although they read your papers they are still backing me and that's a great feeling."

R.I.P Antonio Puerta

It´s a sad day in the footballing world.
Seville´s Antonio Puerta has died he was 22.
Puerta died of "multiple organ failure stemming from prolonged cardiac arrest" and subsequent coronary problems, Virgen del Rocio Hospital director Gimeno Guerrero said in a statement. My condolences to his family and friends.R.I.P

Sevilla's 4-1 Victory Proves Magic of La Liga

What a shame that the inaugural televised match of the new La Liga season was not shown worldwide due to disputes between TV companies in Spain. Let's hope they get their issues resolved quickly so we don't miss any quality soccer.

So instead of seeing the Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, the first televised match of the 2007/2008 season we witnessed was Sevilla against Getafe. Click to continue reading...
