1
AFP/Getty Images

  2. Milan confirm Adebayor focus - Don't know how much of this is bluster, but Arsenal really need to hold on to K2.

Sunday meant a lot to Milan for various reasons. The debut of Alexandre Pato, the return of Ronaldo from injury and a convincing display against Napoli to remove the jinx of playing at home this season (Milan had not won at home all season). The Brazilian connection between Ronaldo, Pato and Kaka' did not disappoint. Going Dutch

1
Bernd Schuster's Real Madrid is acquiring a distinctive Dutch flavour. Two Dutchmen have joined the club in recent days to kepp Ruud van Nistelrooy company: Royston Drenthe and, as of yesterday, Ajax midfielder Wesley Sneijder. Typically, his countrymen have gravitated towards Barcelona over the years; he is only the fifth ever Dutchman to join Real Madrid:
  • Johnny Metgod (1982-1984) - currently assistant coach at Feyenoord, so he knows Drenthe's game well.
