Ferrara was a model professional, a consistent performer, and even if he wasn't world renowned during his playing career he is simply one of the best defenders Italy has ever produced.

Il presidente della Roma Franco Sensi è morto ieri sera al Policlinico Gemelli, dove era ricoverato da tempo, nel reparto di terapia intensiva, per problemi respiratori. Aveva 82 anni. La notizia del suo ricovero era diventata di dominio pubblico poco prima di Ferragosto quando Rosella Sensi, amministratore delegato dell'AS Roma, aveva parlato delle condizioni del padre incontrando alcuni tifosi fuori dall'ospedale.
