Torres Double Overshadowed by Mike Riley

0
Fernando Torres two goals in three minutes is the difference as Liverpool take the short trip to Goodison Park and come out 2-0 victors that was marred by the horrific refereeing of Mike Riley. I am going to say it like I see it here, Mike Riley has officially ended the FA's respect campaign over the last two weeks. Click to continue reading...

Kalou Keeps Chelsea Streak Intact Against Manchester United

0
Salomon Kalou's header ten minutes from time cancels out Ji-Sung Park's opener and preserves Chelsea's unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea and Manchester United ends honors even at 1-1.

Unlike the Liverpool/Manchester United clash last weekend, this was more typical big four fare. The game wasn't pretty by any means, plenty physical and full of controversy.

This has coincided with the hot air surrounding the FA's rather vacuous 'respect' campaign, of note there was no shortage of players surrounding referees last weekend, Manu and Chelsea players being yet Click to continue reading...

Shaken And Stirred

Well well well!

Rafa and the boys had a bit of a run for their money tonight didn't they?

I know Liverpool were missing a couple of midfielders to the Olympics but deary me! Those Belgians were all over them. They were very unlucky not to have been awarded that first goal attempt which hit the post but in my view was batted away by the goalie over his own line and should therefore have been allowed. FA revise plans for ‘Respect’ campaign

1
THE FA have revised their new ‘Respect' campaign after it was realised just telling players to respect referees would be about as effective as Osama bin Laden skipping into Washington with an extended olive branch and giving George Bush a kiss on the cheek. FA officials were said to have voiced concerns about the current [. Click to continue reading...
