The role of love in football.

It's a tricky subject in some ways. We all have our definition of love and it takes many different forms.

The kind of love I want to talk about is the love we have for the people we work with and for. Click to continue reading...

8
Soccer by Ives is reporting that MLS has blocked the Red Bulls' purchase of Macoumba Kandji from the Silverbacks. Get the details here...

I think MLS really, really screwed up here. Who cares what league a quality player is in? Why should the fact that he's playing in the USL matter as to his value? Click to continue reading...

Lampard signs on for five more years at Chelsea

0
Interesting life ol' Lampard leads. Helluva club player, never really translates to the national team.

Teams owners and managers love him, hate him and fight over him.

But $70 million would make me forget all about Inter and Mourinho also.
'I think it helped coming back, training at Chelsea.

Galaxy Players Not Sad to See Gullit Leave Team

1

It took a bit of reading between the lines, but it's clear more than few Galaxy players did not see eye to eye with now former Coach Ruud Gullit and were not unhappy to see him go in the least.

The players I talked to after practice today were circumspect and chose their words carefully, but it was obvious players were not prepared to fall on their swords, as it were, for Gullit.

The Police Officer Speaks

2

Lyon's backline patrolman Cris has given a candid interview about former teammate Hatem Ben Arfa. Even though Inara wrote an excellent "cathartic" piece on HBA's departure and most of us have closed the file on Hatem's Lyon career, I thought this would be of interest.
