Cory Gibbs and Eddie Lewis, both former MLS players, are coming back to the league. After Toronto FC used their top allocation spot the LA Galaxy moved to that top position and the Colorado Rapids have the 2nd spot. So when Cory Gibbs became available the Galaxy had a chance to take him, but they used the top spot on Eddie Lewis.
