I tip Adebayor to topple Chelsea…

2
Just for once I believe that the force is with us. After a dreadful series of results, the green shoots of a premature recovery may be breaking through. The reason? In the space of a week, we have a new Captain, a new CEO and most importantly a new level of focus. I have always [...] Click to continue reading...

Was Gallas was right and Wenger wrong? and Dynamo review

Carling Cup: Cometh the hour, cometh the Vela

0
Carling Cup preview Tonight, I expect to see a very strong Wigan Athletic side come to the Emirates to attack. The loss of Emile Heskey through injury will probably see Senegalese striker Camara play along side Zaki. I expect this to be a physical encounter, as in pure footballing terms, Wigan should find [. Arsenal v Everton, Shovel at the Rocket and that Usmanov Protest

Everton come to the Emirates on Saturday buoyed by the news that David Moyes has signed a new 5 year contract. Sunderland v Arsenal: Pre-match Report

Part 1 of the response is complete. Now Part 2 is just one day away. Arsene Wenger stated that the 4-0 victory on Wednesday only went half way towards wiping the shock defeat to Hull from our minds. He is spot on. Wednesday night's far improved performance will mean nothing if we do not go [...] Click to continue reading...

Before the events on Wednesday night, this article would have taken the shape of one of those typical, post-international period matches. Wigan vs Arsenal - San Siro To The JJB - A Similar Result Is Necessary

2

After our performance in the San Siro we must push on, both on a European and a domestic front. That starts this Sunday with the Premier League match at Wigan Athletic. The pitch up there will be awful and I doubt they will want to sort it out before we visit the JJB! On a brand new pitch we dominated Milan with our slick passing game.

Arsenal vs AC Milan - All To Play For…Bring It On!

6

Arsenal vs AC Milan in the San Siro, scores level at 0-0 after the first leg and one of the hardest and most important games so far this season. No British team has won in the San Siro and right now our form is shaky. Lets be realistic, Milan are favourites to go through to the quarter finals but it will not be a full gone conclusion.

Arsenal vs Aston Villa - Win It For Eddy!

After the horrific events of last Saturday, having a full week until their next game was a blessing for the players. Arsene Wenger is said to have given the players an extra day off to get over what happened to their team mate and ultimately their good friend Eduardo. This much needed rest time could be crucial with the title race hotting up.

Manchester United vs Arsenal - League Preview? I Don’t Think So

3

You may well have read Fabregas The King's article on the upcoming FA Cup game. In it he has described his excitement about this game, various thoughts on the games. All I can say is I have the same anxieties and the same anticipation for this game. FTK will be going up to Old Trafford for the game and for that I am very envious of him.

Arsenal vs Blackburn - Down To The Bare Bones

4

So, we go into Monday's game with 11 players either out injured or doubtful. The list reads as follows:

Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure and Alex Song (international duty)
Johan Djourou (groin)
Philippe Senderos (knee)
Robin van Persie (thigh)
Abou Diaby (calf)
Mathieu Flamini (hamstring)
Manuel Almunia (sick)
Denilson (hamstring)
Tomas Rosicky (hamstring)

What really annoys me is that two of those (Flamini and Senderos) got injured in meaningless friendlies.

Man City vs Arsenal - Time To Be The First Victors At Eastland This Season

2

Manchester City away was a far trickier tie towards the start of the season, but come Saturday Arsenal will still have a hell of a game on their hands. As Manchester United found out, the City of Manchester Stadium has been a bit of a fortress for the blue half of Manchester. City are unbeaten at home in the Premier League this season and they have played United and Liverpool there so far.

Newcastle Preview And Two Games ManU(a) And Milan(h)

1

The FA Cup draw has been completed and we have been dealt the worst possible draw. Before the game I thought we would get either Manchester United or Chelsea, however I had a feeling it would be at the Emirates. It is just our luck we would draw the team playing brilliant football in their own backyard.

Fulham vs Arsenal - Let’s Put Right The Disappointment Of Last Saturday

3

Cast your minds back to the 29th November of last year and an away trip to Craven Cottage. A game which Arsenal fans would expect to win went very pear shaped and we were 2-0 down after 20 minutes. We had been susceptible to crosses and both goals came from wide areas, one from a set piece, our Achilles heel.

Readers of InsideArsenal are being spoilt today, with two blogs for the price of one. Josh has done the pre match review, and the final team selection will be confirmed an hour before kick-off. Arsenal vs Tottenham - The Re-match…Same Again Please!

2

This time last year Arsenal went to White Hart Lane in the semi-final of the Carling Cup. Wenger gambled with his youngsters and we went 2-0 down before half time. It seemed an uphill task for us to come back but nothing phases this young side and they fought brilliantly to come back to 2-2 and maybe could and should have won the game.

Arsenal vs Tottenham - Expect Some Abuse!!

1

It seems most appropriate that the abuse debate should come up this week, sandwiched in between games against two of our most bitter rivals in Tottenham and Chelsea. Last Sunday, I must admit, I was one of the many booing Ashley Cole, one of those maybe going a bit further than this.

Arsenal vs Chelsea - Grand Slam Sunday

So, here we go, the big one. Lets be honest, ever since the Boro game, all Arsenal fans have been waiting for Sunday's game vs Chelsea.
