Honours even at Stamford Bridge

2
Today's big game in the Premier League saw Chelsea and Manchester draw 1-1. In truth both Luis Filipe Scolari and Sir Alex Ferguson will be reasonably happy with the point although with Chelsea being at home, Scolari may feel a little upset.

Man United's Ji-Sung Park put the visitors in front after Chelsea keeper Peter Cech parried Dimitar Berbatov's straight into the path of the on-rushing Park. Click to continue reading...

manchester city MAN vs chelsea MACHINE

4
Chelsea defeated Manchester City 3-1 as the brilliance of human innovation and skill did not prevail over a well oiled footballing machine that further established its dominance in the Premier League with ruthless efficiency. It's clear that Manchester City still have a lot more players to buy(already questions must be asked of Manager Mark Hughes in having Stephen Ireland starting ahead of Elano)and more time to develop team chemistry. Chelsea ‘keeper has the perfect excuse for his craptastic gaffe

8
When it comes to steaming tripe, the footballing press and internet rumour-mongers are the usual culprits. However, this time it is the Czech Republic keeper Peter Cech, who let a dodgy porker leave his cakehole. Cech - in a coffee-splutteringly terrible excuse - claimed that there was "water on the ball" [. Click to continue reading...

Chelsea stopper Peter Cech reckons that Avram Grant has Chelsea in equal (and possibly better) shape to Stamford Bridge martyr Jose Mourinho - and when asked to compare the two managers Cech said: "I can see the same quality in this team. "We're handling the pressure and winning the big games. I would say [. Click to continue reading...
