Savagery… 25 Years Later.

The Quick Six

0
We have six games coming up in the space of seventeen days which I think can erase from memory our disappointing double defeat opening to the season.

It all kicks off with Villa on Monday night. This is a game we can certainly win. Villa are no mugs but they are beatable, especially away from Villa Park. Click to continue reading...

Weekend TV Preview: September 12th - 14th

2
Friday 12 September

19:30 Eintracht Frankfurt v Karlsruher SC, Bundesliga, Setanta Sports 1
Early signs are that these teams are aspiring to mid-table mediocrity which does not make this the most attractive of matches on paper. However, most of the Bundesliga is pretty well matched so those choosing to spend their Friday nights in could be rewarded with a decent game. Click to continue reading...

Promise Of Pacheco Has Fringe Benefits

Daniel Pacheco has been earmarked as one to watch ever since Liverpool persuaded him to leave Barcelona. Click to continue reading...

I'm a huge fan of Eto'o, he is without doubt, world-class. Click to continue reading...

Riise signs for Roma

2
It was news we knew was coming, and frankly, news that I'm okay with, but it's still a bit sad to see one Liverpool's longest-serving players (only Carra, Gerrard and Hyypia have more appearances) leave the club.

The BBC is reporting the fee was £4m, while Roma's official website says 5m euros (just under £4m), but either way it's good value for a left-back on the final year of his contract, and honestly more than I was expecting given how sales are usually conducted at Liverpool.
