Wanted: High School Soccer Referees!

Folks - this may be the year that we discover how important referees are to the three-legged stool of High School Soccer (players, coaches, referees). This request came in over the weekend:

There are 2 new schools that have been added to our assigning schedule (Branson, Logan-Rogersville) which means we need at least 6 new referees just to break even on an already short roster.

In the Spring of 2009, Girls High School Soccer in Missouri will expand to 3 classes. Why is this happening? Do we really need three classes? What does it mean for the schools in Southwest Missouri?

2008 Missouri Girls Soccer District Assignments

From the West Plains Zizzers website, Coach Schmitt updates us on the new addition to Class 1 soccer this season - Mountain View Liberty joins District 12.

The Missouri State High School Activities Association has released the 2008 Girls Soccer District Assignments. No surprises this year (Those will likely come next year!
