AEK drew their first of two friendlies this weekend 2-2. AEK played wusing the 4-4-2 formation. The goals for AEK were scored by RAFIK DJEBOUR!! in the 5th minute and Pantelis Kafes in the 30th minute. Intertoto Cup - 2nd Round, 1st Leg

The 1st legs of the 2nd round of the Intertoto Cup were played this weekend - full results here - Hibernian of Scotland joined the competition and were beaten 2-0 at Easter Road by Elfsborg of Sweden.


The resounding result of the weekend was Saturn of Russia beating Luxembourg's Eztella, 7-0 away.

Wow, what a first half. As the score indicates, neither team is playing very solid defense. Norway appears to be the more dominate side and probably should be ahead had Carew not squandered a one-on-one with the Greek keeper. It was a tough angle though.
