West Brom Adds Another; Does It Matter?

Determined to remain in the Premiership, West Bromwich Albion signed Real Mallorca midfielder Borja Valero for a club record £4.7million.  The 23-year-old signed a four-year contract at The Hawthorns.  Valero now is the Baggies' ninth addition this summer and takes the club spending-spree total to around £20million. Abdoulaye Meite has joined newly promoted West Brom from Bolton as the baggies look to strengthen ahead of the Premiership campaign. The Ivory Coast centre back moves to the Hawthorns in a deal worth £2m. Baggies Confim Carson Deal

West Brom have completed the £3.25million signing of England international Scott Carson from Liverpool.

As revealed by skysports.com, Carson has signed a four-year deal at The Hawthorns with the club having the option of adding another year to the deal.
