MLS round-up: Week 24

It's all about GBS and Columbus these days.

The Argentine that is Guillermo Barros Schelotto all but locked up the MVP award with a goal and two assists in a 4-0 destruction of New England.

That's six goals and 18 (!) assists on the year. Wow.

We are now 2/3rds the way in! Lets take a look at our last 10 games.

OVERALL: 7-6-7
LAST 10: 3-3-4

The Second Trimester (and Juan Carlos Osorio)

The Red Bulls took an nose dive in the early part of the last 10 games. Amounting only one win in the first 6 (which included two heartbreakers with a 4-1 loss to DC and an equally embarrassing 4-0 loss to Colorado), the 1-3-2 Red Bulls looked destined to collapse.

It was easiest the biggest win in the history of the NEW San Jose Earthquakes.

When Ryan Cochrane scored the last-minute winner to give San Jose a 3-2 triumph against hated rivals Los Angeles Galaxy, the team celebrated like it was releasing weeks and months of frustration, which is what it did.
