Poor form to be the "I told you so" guy I admit, but damn y'all, we waited so long. Click to continue reading...

Last Night's Party: U.S. in Cold-arado.

Dos a Cero and for once it wasn't the Mexicans that we hung it on. I liked what I saw from the young folks and 80's Babies that got the run out v. Guatemala last night. I particularly liked they way Jozy, Kenny, Freddy, and Sacha work together in the attack; throw Landon in the central mid and you see what might soon be my preferred U. Click to continue reading...

On Musical Credability, The Roster and Frankencooper

Personally I would have preferred the INXS take on this; I firmly believe that no one really likes Dylan, they just say they do because they are supposed to. Same thing goes for Patti Smith. But whatevs, I just love that U.S. Soccer is pop-culturally astute enough to announce the roster for the match v. Click to continue reading...

Video: Kenny Cooper Cannot Be Put in a Box

1
And to think there are people out there that think he should just sit up in front of the goal and wait. Those same people also often say that he doesn't use his body enough. Watch this goal in slo-mo and you can't tell me those people aren't Amy Winehouse-in-a-crackhouse-crazy. Click to continue reading...

Bradley Announces Cooper-Less WCQ Roster

2
Obviously, US men's national team coach Bob Bradley is not a frequent reader of this publication. If said 'gaffer' did was would well know that calling in Kenny Cooper to his squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers was of paramount importance and that his persistent insistence on leaving the streaking striker out of the selection was tantamount to treason. Everybody Wants Some of That FrankenCooper (Except Bob Bradley)

13
So y'all know that Big Kenny Cooper is being courted by Norway's Rosenborg right? But did you know that they've upped it from chocolates and flowers to diamonds and pearls? Or did you hear that in the face of losing one of it's best girls to some foreign dude, MLS has offered FrankenCooper a new & improved contract? Click to continue reading...

What Did EJ Do to Deserve Such Loyalty?

1
Bob Bradley has announced who he's bringing into camp for World Cup Qualifying. Sadly it includes Eddie "Let's face it he's ok but not great" Johnson and not Kenny "I am currently hot & second on the Golden Boot list" Cooper.

For the love of God & all that is holy, if Brian Ching can get called in can't we give the big man another look? Click to continue reading...

Must See TV: The Matt Reis/Kenny Cooper Freakshow

2
The following video is my obligatory reminder for you to watch the MLS Primetime Thursday match tonight on ESPN2. Additionally my completely farcical & unlikely prediction for this match is as follows:

FrankenCooper will have problems putting one past Matt Reis. Matt Reis will in turn have issues keeping Big Kenny out of his onion bag. Click to continue reading...

Fishy Business: Galaxy Reacquire Ruiz

0

So there you have it. No more supposition and crystal soccer ball-gazing as to who LA was trying to clear cap space for. With the return of Ruiz the Galaxy now have a someone worthy of being on the end of Donovan & Beckham's passes; they may also have just made themselves into a "decent" team. Kenny Cooper Is Healed and Hungry

1

Lost in all the wonder of Juan Toja, the emergence of Dominic Oduro, and the arrival of Denilson is that one of the leagues best young players has been riding the pine for half of the season. Kenny Cooper has been injured since June and while FC Dallas has found goals without him, it stands to reason that skipper Steve Morrow has got a little glimmer in his eyes from the thought of having such a dangerous attacking weapon coming back for the playoff stretch.
