I can also tell you we are in the fight of our lives and, I believe, only the people of Canberra can secure this team.

Canberra FC keeper signs on...and Grand Final Predictions

Canberra FC Premier League Grand Final keeper Nathan Denham meets A-League Bid Leader Ivan Slavich at this mornings Grand Final Breakfast.

Denham hopes to win on Sunday but he would also love to see an A-League team in Canberra.

We need $6 million we've already got $4.5 million and over 530 Foundation Members. All in a few weeks. A fantastic effort from Ivan Slavich and the whole community. Have we ever been so close?

ACT Government $2.5 million for A-League side

The ACT Government has announced a multi-million dollar deal for the Canberra A-League side this morning.

Graeme MacKinnon, Foundation Member 412, is a "mad Mariners supporter" but he's laid out his hard-earned cash to show his support for a team from Australia's Capital.

Werner Kraus is Brazilian, a former Canberra ANU PHD student around about ten years ago, has fond memories of playing Purple Shins, ANU gym Futsal and various games around the Ovals of Canberra.
