Within the last hour it's been confirmed that the Olympics 2012 mountain biking event will be held in Hadleigh.


It was originally scheduled for Weald Country Park in Brentwood but the terrain there was judged to be unchallenging. The committee reviewed its plans and a suitable venue's been found much closer to home - at Hadleigh Farm, and the surrounding countryside of Hadleigh Castle Country Park.
