5 Things We Learned From Matchday 5: Wednesday Edition.

The Cinderellas are in group B, not A. Cluj was the underdog-come-good story to start out the campaign, and deservedly so. They beat Roma - though who didn't earlier in the season - and nil-niled (yes, that's a verb) with a then high-flying Chelsea team. Now, however, they've come back down to earth, and will be [. Chelsea Players “Too Rich and Too Soft”

BATE and Cluj Show No Fear in the Champions League

There's no getting away from the fact that some team names are a little less familiar than others in the Champions League this season. But if we were expecting the likes of Romania's CFR Cluj and Belarus's FC BATE Borisov to roll out the welcome mat and let the more famous teams trample all over [... Click to continue reading...

Pressure Squarely on Chelsea Against Cluj

How cliche that Transylvania is the setting for today's Champions League encounter between Cluj and Chelsea, given of course that it's Oct. 1 and we're about to be bludgeoned for the next 31 days with the images and sounds of Halloween. Just check out the nearest Target or Wal-Mart if you don't believe me. Click to continue reading...
