It must really be painful these days to be a Rapids supporter. From fights with security to confrontations with Fernando Clavijo himself. Now it appears that for the 2nd time this year the Rapids will miss their transfer target. Before they were outbid by Korean K-League side Busan. Rapids Gains And Losses

Thanks to FC Rocky for putting together all the gains and losses in players the Rapids have had the last couple of days. The 3rd was an MLS roster deadline so it was the usual time in the spring to cut players.

Yesterday, March 4th, the MLS held a waiver draft for those players that were cut. Brandon Prideaux was picked up by the Chicago Fire [Red Card on Prideaux, here]

Of note the Rapids also signed a Brazilian player they were pursuing.

NOTCOMING: Reinaldo Not Coming To Colorado

FIFA.com is reporting that Brazilian striker and Real Salt Lake and Colorado transfer target, Reinaldo formerly with the Queensland Roar of Australia's A-League, is heading instead to Busan I'Park of Korea's K-League after The Colorado Rapids were outbid at the last moment. It's hard to get excited about any Olympic qualifier and a home game against Uzbekistan certainly wasn't one to send pulses racing just south of the 38th Parallel. South Korea had already defeated the Central Asians in the second round of qualifying in March then went on to complete the double in Tashkent in April.
