9/29 Southwest Region High School Soccer Report

Neosho Wildcats - 1
The Branson Pirates broke through on their home field for the first time on Monday. A 2-1 victory over a very fast Neosho team earned the Pirates their first COC win and their first on field victory at John E. Chase stadium.

9/11 Southwest Missouri High School Soccer Report

Hillcrest Hornets - 5
Rogersville Wildcats - 1
The Wildcats took the initial lead in this game until the Hornets turned it up a notch. Bryce Collier tied the game enroute to scoring a pair of goals, Mitch Easter got the game-winner and Michael Freeman and Ben Ballhorn added goals as well.

Region II Tourney Update - Springfield SC Win First Game

Good news from Rockford where the U17 boys won their opening game on Saturday 4-0 over the FC Barrington squad from Illinois making their club's first ever visit to Regionals. Goals were scored by Ryan Partch, Bryce Collier, Ian Kennedy and Devon Newport, continuing the broad-based scoring model that has gotten them this far.

Springfield SC Earns First Win At Dallas Cup

The boys came back from a 1-2 deficit to beat the North Texas Strikers today 3-2.

Goals from Bryce Collier, assist by Graham Basecke. Direct kick goal by Devon Newport from just outside the box. Game winner from Tim Griffin, another assist from Graham Basecke.

The Strikers fought hard (7 yellows and a red card according to the report I got) in an effort to get their first win after losing to Tigres (Mexico) yesterday by a 2-4 score.
