Rapids Sinking Further

4
The Colorado Rapids woes continued as they lost Toronto FC at Dicks Sporting Goods Park. Toronto hadn't won a game in 2 months. The Rapids had only won once in their last 10. But Toronto was missing players (Amando Guevara, Laurent Robert, Marco Velez, Carmelo Lobo) forcing them to start some reserves. Click to continue reading...

The weighted lottery comes Colorado's way...for once. It almost always looks like MLS favors the local team in these cases, add to that the fact that his college coach is now FC Dallas coach and in my eye's, Bruno was going to FC Dallas. But, things don't always work out the way you expect and the Rapids won the lottery. Click to continue reading...

Ah yes, the lovely lottery is back. If you haven't heard by now as it was reported yesterday by The Star-Telegram, Bruno Guarda has turned pro and has signed with MLS, passing up his senior year at SMU. Weighted Lottery Draft - Bruno Guarda

2
Why is no-one talking about this? From Climbing The Ladder: First of all, SJ would have to go back to their 2005 season to get a full 30 games. They could do that, or perhaps more likely, just take the current PPG and expand it to 30 games worth of points. They would then be the #1 [...] Click to continue reading...

Bruno Guarda Joining MLS...Late...

Bruno Guarda has decided to forgo his senior season at SMU and join MLS, in late July. He's been on my watch list since a solid freshman year earned him 2nd team All-Freshman honors in 2005. For the past two seasons he has been a semi-finalist for the Herman Trophy at the end of the fall seasons. He was on my short list for Generation Adidas. Click to continue reading...
