Robben’s Agent Has A Cure For Real’s Amateur Doctors: Fatty Food.

3
One doesn't have to be exceedingly brilliant to be an agent. Can be just the opposite, in fact. Pretty sure Arjen Robben's agent, Tscheu La Ling, also a long time Ajax player, falls under the latter category. Arjen, more commonly known as Mr. Glass, is currently hurt. Shocking, I know. Not because he's injury prone, [. Click to continue reading...

Death, Taxes & Arjen Robben

1
Benjamin Franklin once said there are only two certainties in life, death and taxes. We'll give Ben the benefit of the doubt because he was a couple centuries early, plus he did a couple other mildly intelligent things to pad his CV, but there are actually three certainties in life. So we can now amend [. Click to continue reading...

DE LA RED delivers for MADRID

0
My little bro was in town so I skipped the game and took him to the BRONX ZOO. Based on the highlights I saw and commentary it looks like I missed another SNOOZEFEST. Winning like this is good for the standings but bad for the soul of a team that is supposed to be about attractive 'futbol'. Anyways here's what GOAL. Click to continue reading...

Fighting It Out With Chelsea Over Danish United Fan Defender

There was a time not so long ago that United seemed to lose out to Chelsea on transfers all the time. Whether it was Arjen Robben or Michael Essien, the top talents in Europe wanted a piece of Chelsea's money and sucess, whilst we settled for Djemba-Djemba shaped crumbs. The tides have turned somewhat since then, [. Click to continue reading...

DE LA RED EXPLODES AS 9 man REAL MADRID DEFEATS VALENCIA IN SUPERCOPA

2
Real Madrid defeated Valencia with 9 men on the pitch. ok. Robinho didn't play. ok. Madrid played better with Raul and Guti off the field. ok. Robben can't score, dribble, pass or take on defenders better than Robinho but at least he can run down the right and left flanks with passionate strides of skillful dribbling until Real Madrid figure out what to do with the outstanding Brazilian who looks like he is on his way to Chelsea. Die anderen 9 Tore aus seiner Top 10 sind ebenfalls sehenswert, wenngleich die Bildqualität dürftig ist.

UEFA Euro 2008: Holland-Russia Preview

It's the Guus Hiddink Grudge Match in Basel as Holland face Russia in quarterfinal #3. The current Russia and former Holland coach said he hopes to earn the title of "the traitor of Holland." If he's to do so, his men will have to bring down the tournament's highest-flying team.

With the number of upsets in Euro 2008 so far, will we witness another one in this live online and radio commentary Euro 2008 quarterfinal between Holland and Russia live as one of the overwhelming favourites will have to cope with the tactical genius of the Russian manager. It could turn out to be a very cagey live online streaming match for the Dutch as while they claim to be one happy bunch, their traditional choker tag might come back to haunt them as there are a few of them in there like Van Persie and Arjen Robben. Kuyt On Target As Dutch Destroy France

Euro 2008: Oranje you glad you watched?

Ah the possibilities are endless on creating your own headline including the Dutch nickname. I'm sure glad I got up at 5:30 AM to watch half two of France-Netherlands. Not only did I get to see a decent performance out of Robin Van Persie - still not injured, keeping fingers crossed - I saw a wonderful game played by the Dutch.

Adrian Healy -- "It's a Dutch Oven, and the French are toast." Arjen Robben deserves his own post, even if his bones are 50 percent glass. What a strike son. Getafe Violates the Bernabeau 1-0 in Robinho's Absence

6

Robinho's absence due to an abdominal muscle tear he suffered against Valladolid a couple weeks ago is casting a huge shadow over the Santiago Bernabeau. Real Madrid is in shambles, not just the midfield but the entire team has been exposed as nothing but one dimensional unimaginative old men(raul, ruud van nistelroy, guti, salgado, cannavaro, heinze), hard working uncreative strong men(Baptista, Diarra), injury prone saviors(Pepe, Robben), frustrating but promising youngsters(Drenthe, Marcelo, Higuain, Balboa, Torres) and the quality players who hold it all together(Sergio Ramos, Casillas, Sneijder, Gago). Robben & Robinho Skillfully Inspire Real Madrid ove Real Betis

Much will be made(and rightly so) of how Baptista created an outstanding overhead bicycle kick goal(85' min.) from an errant Guti pass and a crafty back headed ball from the mighty and unheralded Mamadiou Diarra.
