United 1 - QPR 0 Highlights

1

Not the most exciting game (due mostly to the absence of Manucho.... and that fact that it apparently was only broadcast in the Far East). Nevertheless, a win is a win, and I hope that this gives the youth brigade something to build on. As far as I can tell, the most noteworthy point of the game was that, as hard as Tevez was trying to score, Anderson seemed to be doing everything in his power to keep himself from hurting the back of the net.

Have United Replaced Keane and Scholes With Anderson?

0
When Anderson first joined United, I was expected a flair player, who'd be great on the attack, but whose work rate may suffer. He was billed as the replacement for Paul Scholes, which was incredibly exciting, considering the thought of finding someone to fill Scholes' shoes should have been a worry for all United fans [. Former Manchester United defender and recently hired scout, Jaap Stam, has been tracking another Brazilian starlet. Now Adding Drug Dealers To ManU’s Entourage

1
As good as Manchester United were last year, and they were very good, their off the field shenanigans, mostly those involving Portuguese speaking attackers and their hooker-a-thons, left something to be desired. Not exactly getting off to a shining start in the department this year either because Anderson had a drug dealing buddy of his [. Click to continue reading...

It was reported after United's 1-1 draw away with Chelsea at the weekend that a group of Chelsea fans attacked the bus carrying the players, for the second time in the past three years. A notorious Brazilian drug dealer, known as Gigi, has been arrested in Anderson's home in Porto Alegre. The police have been following the drug dealer for a year, but insist the United midfielder does not play any part in their investigations. Portsmouth Feels the Wrath of Early Season Schedule

2 games, 0 points. No goals scored and five goals allowed.

What those numbers don't tell you are the two opponents in question. At Stamford Bridge against Chelsea and then host to Manchester United.

When Portsmouth saw their early season schedule, they had to be a little concerned.

There is always apprehension ahead of travelling to Fratton Park due to their recent good history against us. When looking at the players we had available to us, the worries increased. After being humiliated by Argentina in the semi-finals, Brazil overcame Belgium 3-0 in today's match played for the bronze medal. Anderson Happy About Ron & Watched Newcastle On The Net

0
Anderson, who suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Argentina at the Olympics yesterday, seems chuffed to bits to be a Manchester United player. ARGENTINA! Anderson and co. Embarrassed

ARGENTINA! surprisingly battered Brazil in today's semi-final at the Olympics, meaning they will not go on to play Nigeria in Saturday's final for the gold medal. VIDEO: Anderson Scores In Brazil 5-0 Win

2
Anderson is hugely popular with the United faithful, showing bags of skill, confidence, fight, and potential to become one of the World's greatest. Anderson - What a bloody nice bloke

20
Poor ol Kleberson. As if his stint at United wasn't embarrassing enough, without Old Trafford's favourite new chant having to bring back all the memories. How Carlos Queiroz’s Departure Affects Manchester United

2
You can't blame Carlos Queiroz one bit for answering the call from his country. Let’s hope Manchester United v Chelsea isn’t another borefest

The hype surrounding the Champions League final is showing no signs of abating. Barcelona v Manchester United: Catanaccio be Damned!

1

I must admit, when i saw Anderson first few games for United i was in doubt on the young Brazillian's talent, he looked out of sorts and didn't really performed well, but when Scholes got injured the 19-year-old stepped in and with every game grew in confidence and showed exceptional talent.

Sir Alex Ferguson has now hailed Anderson as the natural successor to Old Trafford veteran Paul Scholes.

A week is a very short time in the mad world of football, and just a few days ago many fans were asking questions about new £18m summer signing Anderson.
