Overseas interest in Colorado Rapids midfielder Pablo Mastroeni is at an all-time high right now, with two possible countries emerging as his most likely destination for next year: Spain and Italy.Mastroeni has always spoken of his desire to ply his trade in Europe before he calls it a career. Italian club Cagliari has expressed interest in the US international midfielder in the past, as have several Serie B clubs, but the newest teams to enter the hunt are reportedly Spain's Malaga and Real Betis. KC Welcomes Beckham and the Galaxy

0
Tomorrow afternoon, the Wizards return to Arrowhead Stadium to take on David Beckham and the Galaxy at 4 pm. Both team's are struggling right now, as since the all star break, the two are a combined 1-7-5. LA hasn't won since June. KC's only win since the all star break was a game against Chivas USA that they probably should have only gotten a point out of. Click to continue reading...

Manchester City Are Going To Be The Biggest Club In The World

11
Imagine an all-star team of footballers featuring the top names in the sport. Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Cesc Fabregas, Fernando Torres, Thierry Henry, Robinho and David Villa. Now imagine all of these players on the same team, Manchester City. Before yesterday, that notion sounded ridiculous, but now that the Abu Dhabi United Group is in charge of [. The Olympics, weren't they just great?

0
The Olympics were such a great experience. I hope all of you had the chance to watch a lot of it. I was watching sports that I've never watched before, just because it was the Olympics. I'd never usually watch badminton or team handball, but I did over the last few weeks.

Wasn't Michael Phelps just amazing? Click to continue reading...

Premiership All-Star Team--Round 2

1
Manchester United's 1-0 victory at Portsmouth earlier this afternoon concluded the second round of fixtures in the Premiership. It would be foolish to read too much into the standings at this point in this season, but it's still interesting to see the likes of Hull City and Newcastle near the top of the table while Portsmouth and Tottenham are languishing at the other end. Here Come the Fire

1
With the "all star break" over, the Wizards are back in action this Sunday against the Chicago Fire. Kansas City comes into the game unbeaten in their last 5 league matches, and have pulled themselves back into the playoff race, after looking like they'd struggle for the early part of the season. They're still the second lowest scoring team in the league, but their 3 goals against Columbus gives hope that they are getting out of that scoring funk. Click to continue reading...

All Star Angel Going International? River Plate Calling?

First of all, congrats to Angel, who came off the bench in the second half for Blanco, and did an excellent job, with a goal being waved off. Shame. It was a hell of a finish.

But the All Star Game isn't the only thing on Juanpies mind!

Angel recently had "productive" discussions with Colombian National Team Coach Jorge Luis Pinto.
