AC Milan 4-1 Lazio: Is “Biancocelesti” Italian for “Miracle Cure”? (Serie A Matchday 3)

1
You know it's funny: it seems that whenever AC Milan are in trouble, all they need to lift their spirits is a little Lazio "rejuvenation cure". Just around the same time last year, the Rossoneri had just played an abysmal UEFA Champions League match against Celtic Glasgow (in which Dida infamously faked being mortally hit [. Rossoneri Resurrection, AC Milan 4 - 1 Lazio

0
Calling all Milanista, I got it wrong and admit it but what's more important is understanding why.  The key to today's victory was manager Ancelotti getting back to basics. Take a look at the starting XI, leaving Ronaldinho and Andriy Shevchenko on the bench was the right move.  Ancelotti would instead go with young Pato and Marco Borriello and a Pirlo-less midfield that supported the front [. Sergio Aguero sends Argentina into gold contention

3
Sergio Aguero confirmed his status as one of the world's greatest talents when he sent Argentina through to the Olympic final in a 3-0 triumph at the expense of Brazil. World Player of the Year 2009: Ronaldinho

0
Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, Sneijder, Pirlo, Torres, Fabregas and Ferdinand may be the best players in the world today. They have scored 42 goals, beat 50 players a game, be the current holder of the aforementioned award or magically create clean sheets. None of them though, are as talented as the ex Barcelona reserve who scraped together a paltry nine goals last year. Click to continue reading...

Not golden

5
Brazil have never won Olympic gold in soccer. Perhaps they might change that this year.

Here's the squad Dunga has named to try to take home the prize. It's not a bad roster, though I think Ronaldinho is less than fit.

Goalkeepers: Diego (Almeria, ESP), Renan (Internacional)

Defenders: Marcelo (Real Madrid, ESP), Ilsinho (Shakhtar Donetsk, UKR), Rafinha (Schalke 04, GER), Thiago Silva (Fluminense), Alex Silva (Sao Paulo), Breno (Bayern Munich, GER). Click to continue reading...

Milan's new duck

It seems that Milan have finally got their Duck. The duck I mean is Alexandre Pato from Inter (Inter of Brazil). And it finally happened, to nobody's surprise. The most recent young talent from Brazil is yet again sold to Europe. Alexandre 'The Duck' Pato, from Internacional, was sold to Italy's AC Milan for US$ 20 million, after the club paid his buyout clause. With the transfer, Pato will no longer play for Inter.
