The 18-year-old left back was on both FA Youth Cup winning sides in 2006 and 2007. He scored the goal in the second leg of 2007 final with Manchester United to send the match to penalties, where Liverpool prevailed 4-2. He was named Man of the Match for his efforts that night at Old Trafford.]]></summary>
