Davino, Dallas Part Ways

FC Dallas has announced that they are parting ways with Mexican defender Duilio Davino, as the two sides have mutually agreed to terminate his contract. The move allows Davino to explore further playing opportunities in Mexico, according to the team release.Davino, 32, signed with Dallas back in January for a near-maximum salary of $400,000, earning just less than Designated Player money. Wizards Announce Open Tryouts

The Kansas City Wizards announced Thursday that the team will hold its second-annual open tryouts March 7-8, 2009 in Kansas City. Hoping to bolster a backline that was the most porous in the league in 2008, the Los Angeles Galaxy are in talks to sign Honduran defender Victor Bernardez, according to several league sources.The 26-year-old Bernardez currently plays for CD Motagua in his native country and is captain of the side.
