Nominations for the Irish Blog Awards 2009 have today been opened. Last year Football Corner was
nominated for the 'Best Sport & Recreation Blog' (which was a great honour). When the nominations
were originally announced, there were a total of 22 blogs left in the running, however that list

Robbie Keane was the hero at Anfield today as Liverpool beat Bolton 3-0 to move back to the top of
the Premier League. The Merseyside club had briefly been replaced at the top of the table after
Chelsea beat West Brom 2-0 in one of the earlier kick-off's.

thanks to a goal from Wayne Rooney.
